[tex]=9-(3\times 3)+1[/tex]

[tex]=9-9+1[/tex]

Now, apply addition.

[tex]=(9+1)-9[/tex]

[tex]=10-9[/tex]

Now, apply subtraction.

[tex]=1[/tex]
