Explanation:

If you get wax paper and water right now, it will repel the water. Putting wax on anything makes it water repellent. I don't know how but this is just my prediction.  

I feel like oil would be the most adhesive because oil repels water, so does wax paper. So I'd predict oil would hold onto wax paper the most.
