It means you divide [tex]6[/tex] with [tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex].

When you divide a fraction, you reciprocate it meaning divide it by [tex]1[/tex] or switch the numerator and the denominator. The reciprocated one will be: [tex]\frac{4}{3}[/tex]

Multiply 6 with 4/3 and you get: [tex]8[/tex]

[tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex] goes [tex]8[/tex] times in [tex]6[/tex] :D
