Each side length of a pentagon measures (x+2). With a perimeter of 32.5 inches, write an equation to solve for x.​

Answer:

Pentagon = 5 sides

Perimeter = add all sides

x+2+x+2+x+2+x+2+x+2 = 32.5

5x+10 = 32.5

5x = 32.5-10

5x = 22.5

x = 4.5
