Write an equation of the line that passes through (6,−3) and is parallel to the line y=−2/3 x+5.

Parallel lines have the same slope

y = mx + c

-3 = (2/3)(6) + c

-3 = 4 + c

c = -7

Thus, the equation is y= -2/3x -7
