[tex]f(x) = {x}^{2} + 7 [/tex]

[tex]y = {x}^{2} + 7 [/tex]

Subtract the sides of the equation minus 7

[tex]y - 7 = {x}^{2} [/tex]

Take the square root of both sides of the equation

[tex]x = \sqrt{y - 7} [/tex]

So ;

[tex] {f}^{ - 1}(x) = \sqrt{x - 7} [/tex]
