Add 6 both sides
-10x+5=6x-35
Combine -10x and 6x to get -4x
4x+5=-35
Subtract 5 from both side
-4x = -35-5
Subtract 5 from -35 to get -40
-4x=-40
Divide both side by 4
-4/-40
Divide -4 and -40 will give you 10
x = 10
