Answer: a/(b^2)

In general, (x^n1)/(x^n2)=x^(n1-n2). So the simplified version is a*(b^-2)=a/(b^2).

Answer:

a^5b^8/a^4b^10

= a^5-4 b^8-10

= a^1 b^-2

= a/b^2
