Asking a question or wanting to solve a problem leads to a hypothesis. After a hypothesis, you test your hypothesis with an experiment.

Before a hypothesis, you have to have your background research and then you can make your hypothesis with the knowledge you have. After the hypothesis you have to experiment and find out if your hypothesis was correct or not.
