y = 1.5x – 4...........(1)

y = –x...........(2)

Since y is -x from equation 2, Substituting this into equation (1),

y = 1.5x – 4

-x=1.5x-4

-2.5x=-4

x=1.6

Now, when x=1.6, you get -1.6 for 'y' from equation 2. 

(1.6,-1.6)
