On both equations, when you 3n=2 and 4n=-1 you subtracted the coefficient from both sides. However, to undo the multiplication of 3n, you must divide both sides by 3 to get n=2/3. On the other equation, you must divide both sides by 4 to get the second solution n=-1/4.
