A SALT is produce by an ACID and BASE reaction.
For Example:
   HCl  +  NaOH ------> NaCl  +  H₂O (Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium                                                                             Hydroxide (base) gives Sodium                                                                           Chloride a salt)
