Mutation in cells means that a change is caused in a genes structure. Due to mutation in cell the genetic information changes and cell starts to grow and divide without being controlled . Alot of mutation is needed for a cell to become cancerous. A cell becomes cancerous due to mutation in genes. Mutation affects cell division and growth. Mutation can be either inherited from parents or it could be acquired( including cigarrete , radiation and diet).
