I dont know if I’m right but I’d say a moving object that is NOT acted by an unbalanced force will stay put/still. Because if it was unbalanced, then the object would be moving in one direction. If it isn’t unbalanced, in this case it has the same force applied to the opposite side. Making the object stay in place.
