(2^1/6)^9

Factor 3 out of the exponents:

(2^1/2)^3

Now multiply the exponents: 1/2 * 3 = 3/2

Now you have 2^(3/2)

Convert to a radical:

√(2^3)

Raise 2 to the 3rd power:

√8
