Liver in human has a similar function that of chloragogen in the annelida. This tissue basically located at the heart or the intestinal wall of the annelida. Due to the presence of Chloragosomes, chloragogens are yellowish in colour. They can help in the synthesis of urea in annelids. These cells also store glycogen.  chloragogen can be also known as Y cells.
