Little Boy and Fat Man were the code names of the atomic uranium bombs droped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in response to the attack on Pearl Harbor.
It was these bombings that prompted Japan to surrender to the Allied Powers, bringing a much quicker end to WWII.
