Hi, can someone help me with this?

Solve the system of equations:
Y= 2x-4
X= y+1

Y=2x-4

X=y+1

2(y+1)-4

2y+2-4

2y-6

6=2y

6/2 =2y/2

y=3

x = 3+1

x=4
