The answer is D because a postulate is something that is assumed true but is not proven quite yet an example is the theory of relativity, everyone assumes it is true but technically it has not been proven yet

A hypothesis is a statement that is the outcome of something that one expects based on scientific reason however this is not always the case as a hypothesis can be proven wrong

A theorem is a statement that is believed to be true but has not been proven yet
