30% ×  = 60

30% = [tex] \frac{30}{`00} [/tex] = 0.3

0.3x = 60

Divide by 0.3 on either sides to isolate x

[tex] \frac{0.3x}{0.3} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{60}{0.3} [/tex]
x = 200

30% of 200 is 60
