You have to balance the equations so you need to have the same number of each atom on each side of the reaction. for example in question one there is one Ag on the left and two on the right so you need two AgI to balance the Ag. Now you have two I atoms on the left and one on the right in the NaI molecule so you need 2 of those to balance the I. The Na and S will be balanced
