f(x) = x - 5, g(x) = x²

First calculate f(-3).

Put the value of x = -3 to the equation of the function f:

f(-3) = -3 - 5 = -8

Put x = -8 to the equation of the function g:

g[f(-3)] = (-8)² = 64

Answer: g[f(-3)] = 64
