First you need to get a slope. The slope equation is [tex]\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex]. In this case it would be [tex]\frac{2+1}{5-1}[/tex]. That would give you the slope. The slope is 3/6 -> 1/2. Since it wants you to complete it, use the (1,-1). Use the equation[tex]y-y1=m(x-x1)[/tex]. Where m is the slope. The equation already has -1, so all you have to do is put the slope and the x's.
