In the novel Fahrenheit 451, the society is totally different from our society. First of all, the people who are living in the society are living in a dystopia which is a place that life is not good and it dark, and hopeless. Second, the government controls everything having surveillance and does not allow books in the society. Lastly, the society in Fahrenheit 451 is plugged into their technological devices so no one really has to think too hard. Fahrenheit 451 is very different from our world today.
