The Neolithic era is considered a turning point because the human race made many advancements such as agriculture and domesticating animals for food. It was also a turning point because of the advancements of settling in one area instead constantly moving to find food. It was the beginning of job specialization, social classes, and larger populations. They now could advance faster as populations grew, writing, language, trade and religion were all created.
