The Bisbee Deportation refers to the kidnapping and deportation of 1,300 mine workers who were on strike and of their supporters in Bisbee, Arizona. It was all planned by Phelps Dodge, the larger mining corporation in the region, that provided the names of all workers that had to be arrested and who were subsequently deported, using cattle cars, 200 miles away to Dos Hermanas, in Mexico.
