Their are 2 cups in a pint. 2 pints in a quart (4 cups). 4 quarts in a gallon(16 cups). Their are 2 gallons which is 32 cups. So, then you divided 9.92 like this 32/9.92 which equals  3.225806452 I didnt know what to round it to.
