Hello!

[tex]5b+4+10=2[/tex]

Add the numbers with 10+4=14.

[tex]5b+14=2[/tex]

Then subtract by 14 from both sides.

[tex]5b+14-14=2-14[/tex]

Simplify

[tex]5b=-12[/tex]

You can also divide by 5 from both sides.

[tex]\frac{5b}{5}=\frac{-12}{5}[/tex]

Answer

[tex]b=-\frac{12}{5}[/tex]

Hope this helps!
