The answer is 0.045. The easiest way to multiply the two is to ignore the zeros then, multiply 5 and 9 to each other. The answer gives you 45. And which ever On has the most zeros, that’s how you put 45 as a decimal. In this case 0.09 has the most zeros so, the answer is 0.045

.5 * 0.09 = 0.045

just like .5 * 0.5= 0.25

Or .5 *.25=.125
