Why don't countries use breeder reactors?

They don't use them because they are not economically sustainable for countries. Uranium is pretty cheap for countries and new technologies enabled the people to cheaply enrich it and use it so using breeder reactors got shunned away because of economic sustainability. The regular nuclear reactors are much more cheap than breeder reactors.
