8.0-3.0=5.0metres in the x direction
7.0-5.0=2.0 metres in the y direction
Use Pythagoras
25+4=29
[tex] \sqrt[2]{29 } [/tex]
=5.39metres in 2secs
=2.645m/s at an angle of 68.2 degrees to horizontal.... see below!
tan-1 angle = 5/2
angle=68.2 degrees
